how is htc wildfire s? An Android phone

I am using htc wildfire S from last 10 months and now I consider myself well equipped with its experience. So  I am sharing with you as it may help you in taking decision.

The brand name is enough to attract your attention when you start your search of buying a Android phone.
The things which I wanted in my phone before buying this were all fulfilled but the memory.



Lets go into its details,
(All from my perspective)

Operating system : android 2.3 gingerbread earlier it came with 2.2 but now its updated to 2.3 and now waiting to taste ice-cream sandwich i.e. Android 4.0 (yet not listed ):D

Body : This phone has good outer body which is tough.Many times I have dropped my phone on floor mistakenly and once purposely to check its body build and it is still working fine as it was new.It comes in two color dark gray and white. Dark one is better.

Display: htc wildfire has good quality display bundled in it. Even the screen is of gorilla glass so you dont need to bother about scratches but do not totally rely on it.
TFT capacitive touchscreen, 256K colors are enough for you to view videos and play games smoothly.


Memory: Memory is the star point if we talk about a phone and this phone lags in this basic user requirement. Htc could have given more memory to its users but even if they say they are giving 512MB internal memory with 512MB RAM its of no use. As after installing 10 apps on it you get internal memory low warning msg . They could have given some odd figure memory for this device as its cost was factor but memory only makes this mobile go into thrash.

It has preinstalled applications and they take around 137MB internal memory and system itself uses around 245.Approximately you get 130 MB memory which is you have to manage with compulsorily installed google apps which are required and have to mange in leftover.Finally after installing 5-6 apps you get warnings of low internal memory.

Solution is to move apps as you install it from internal memory to memory card and clear unused data in other routine apps.Right now this is the only solution for this device even the company doesn't seems to make new customers so those who have bought this use this trick others buy other phone XOXO

Battery: I don't consider battery as an important issue as its up to you how to last it long.So dont want to talk about battery it is upon your usage how many apps you keep active and blah blah blah... Only i can say is I use battery wisely.


Music: Music with htc's headphone is best at this cost. You take any software its headphones add an advantage to music.Full volume is best with this headphone : ) I love its music

Camera: Camera quality is fine. Use default settings and enjoy its camera with 5MP crisp images you will surely like the features provided like smile shutter, self portrait and ISO image settings.
It has only one camera so you don't need to install skype and wait like dumb to get a video call:P

Video can be recorded with fine quality 5 points for this out of 5 :D

HTC Sense:  For me there was no sense of adding htc sense in this device as the android os itself has its own sense techniques. htc is asking us to pay more for their sense technology so as others like samsung android phones.


Rating given by me is 3.5/5.
And I prefer you to buy other phone as its lags in memory which is most important part of this phone.
So you can add few amount into your budget if you don't want to compromise with memory and unusual hang ups.

Nokia started with paper and now it is selling notebooks :D

But if we consider Nokia's home-ground as Cell phones then it has gone way beyond other cell phone companies.To prove this Nokia has built a new cell phone Nokia N900 .

Nokia N97 mini Review - It is a mini laptop

The mobile which can not be ignored is this one . I know you are aware about Nokia and its new mobile phones . If you know about Nokia N97 then you must be knowing that it slides sideways , and when it open up it looks as if it is a laptop . Its design is the key feature and this is some what reduced in and launched as Nokia N97 mini .



The features available in Nokia N97 are not altered here in Nokia N97 mini but only the screen size is reduced . You wont find this mobile very mini is size . But this name is given in comparison with the old Nokia N97 .

If you want to buy this then you will have to spend around 600 $ ( excluding taxes )

I suppose you might have seen its commercial on television and what they have shown in it is true up-to some extent .

The company said that the mobile has abilities like it is resistant to dust , water and pressure. With these extraordinary qualities this mobile comes with the basic features like 1.3 Mega Pixel camera , FM radio , Internet , MP3 Player , good battery life and can have memory upto 8GB .

So if you are planing to buy a cell phone for less price and you have the extraordinary quality carelessness :D then you must buy this cell phone . As this mobile is only for you.

You can use this mobile as you like . Shake it throw it submerse it but keep in mind that it is yours .

Sony Ericsson Satio -12.1 Mega Pixel

Sony Ericsson has announced their new phone Satio . The main focus is given on its camera which is amazingly 12.1 MP . This is the first cell phone in the world to have that much amount of mega pixels .

The main idea is to drag the customers who want to use their mobile as a true digital camera .As in the market there are many digital cameras available which give satisfactory quality of image . So they have developed this camera on the thought that those who want the cell phone with a digital camera will buy it . It can not be compared with the traditional digital camera . I am a sony ericsson fan from the start . I bought K750i and now have Sony Ericsso c510 but will not buy SE Satio soon .Will need some years to buy it .
Talking about its features I like the design of this cell phone .With design the other feature is the large TFT Screen . You can watch movies on it with ease . With 8GB memory card and with the no error sound of sony you can feel the experience of a movie like in theater on it .



With all these advantages any one can have the power of Sony Ericsson's camera with great quality sound.These features are available in this phone due to the shifting of Satio from Sony Ericsson operating system to Symbian 5th edition Operating system.


Symbain is compatible with most of the applications . And for a product like this the symbain OS is best suitable. In addition to this sony has made another change in the storage media. They have used the microsd card insted of the Memory stick . This is strange but considering size and money the decision is perfectly made by the Sony Ericsson Satio team .



12.1 Mega Pixel Satio was announced in May 2009 and will soon come in the market . I can not say any assumptions about the price of this phone Satio ,let the company decide .
So if you are aiming to buy this mobile then wait for sometime and collect more money till that time . As after buying you will not feel anything left in your pocket :D

My new Sony Ericsson C510 Cybershot

Yes I bought Sony Ericsson C510 cybershot™

Actually my parents gave me 9k INR for buying a new cell phone . But when I went for purchase then found variety of cell phones . One which I liked was K810i . But my friend chetan has bought that camera 2-3 months before . That is the only reason why I did not buy k810i :D But this thing only gave me chance of buying SE C510 . I bought Sony Ericsson C510 Cybershot for 10700 Indian Rupees .

I was aware of the SE C510 but was not knowing complete specifications of it . This phone was launched in Feb 09 . And came in the market So when I went to buy the phone the shopkeeper explained me about its features . Then I bought it and explored it for 4 days in between my exams . And after 4 days of use I got some of the good points :) and few other bad points of this Cybershot™ C510 :(

3. Easy to handle new Walkman 3.0 ™ player .

4. Comes with advantage of threaded conversations i.e. threaded sms .

5. Slim design and great looks . Screen is large enough to watch a movie on it .

6. Records video with good quality . Stores video in .MP4 extension :D hehe


Now

Bad points to remember :
1. Camera is not best given by Sony Ericsson . I thought before buying that the Cybershot phone should give me best pictures but this was not so . When I take images in the dark or inside home then the image gets blur. This is because the size of the aperture it is about 1:3.5 which is smaller than other Sony Ericsson phones which have 1:2.5 aperture. The ISO mode and other factors affects the quality of the image . I will modify it toits best after few days . Not now as the camera is new :D
2. Why should I write another bad point if there isn't any other :D


This camera comes in two colors one is the Radiation Silver & Future Black . But it is not complete black it comes with few shade of blue color .

I bought new C510 on 1/06/09

Finally I got this phone and I am happy .After all it is a 3G phone with all the features like EDGE , HSDPA, HSUPA only lack in WLAN . In approximately 11K INR GPS is not given in this phone . But there is no use of GPS in Nagpur as no maps ae made for our city :D

As this is my last phone from my family to me and after this I won't get any from them . I will have to buy other by my own money :D LoL
