Canon Power Shot SX10 IS

No I have not bought this camera but my friend Kedar Shukla purchased it . It is Canon SX10 IS another Powershot from Canon . But this powershot is different and much better than the previous one . I am talking about the camera which I bought a month ago and that is Canon A1000 IS . But there is no comparison between Canon A1000 IS and Canon SX10 IS . I will prefer you this if and only if you have a budget of around 25000 INR i.e. around 500$ .



For a true photographer this camera is very useful . I have used this camera for a day as it was not mine :D and I found it a cool gadget. It is very much advanced as its features are .

# 10 MP is the standard mega pixels provided .
# 20x Optical zoom will make you zoom much further and clearer .
# Motion and face detection
# ISO 1600 and by default it is in auto mode with maximum ISO .
# With the basic but essential "Red eye correction " feature
# Wide range of shooting modes available ,

The thing which I liked the most is the movie snap mode . Yes you can take pictures while you are recording a video clip . This is awesome and now I am falling in love with this camera <3

Another thing is that it has the shutter speed of 15-1/3200 sec . Only one thing I can tell you is more the speed better is the camera .

The camera comes with more number of shooting modes . Like Auto, P, Av, Tv, M, C, Portrait, Landscape, Sports, Special Scene (Foliage, Snow, Beach, Sunset, Fireworks, Aquarium, Night Scene, Indoor, ISO 3200, Color Accent, Color Swap), Super Macro, Night Snapshot, Stitch Assist and the last is Movie . You just need choose the option .

Canon A1000 IS digital camera-PowerShot

My big brother bought a new digital camera for his wedding . This camera is actually gift from my sister's family to him .



He was given around 10k as gift .So he planned to buy camera below that price.
He searched for the best camera available in the local stores . And he bought himself " Canon digital camera A1000 IS " for 9900 INR :) He saved 100 Rupees and then bought another reserve transcend 4GB memory card for 400 INR :) In all a great deal :D

After purchase he handed that camera to me and I explored it and still doing the same :D HE HA HA HA

I firstly took few photographs of this camera for this post with my cell phone Sony Ericsson k750i :)

After exploring I found some features of this camera ...

Features are good according to me . And I am happy that he bought a good camera which I can also use for my life moments .

He even got a 2 GB memory card for free :D
The only thing which is hurting me is ,they did not give him the camera case for free :(

I was unknown about this camera but after doing some research I found that this camera was on of the best cameras in the range of 10k and 10MP in the year 2008 :)

I know evolution of cameras is very fast in this decade but I think my brother bought a good piece for a good price :)

The common features like face detection don't make this different but the waterproof. This feature enables the power for the photographer to take shoots under water upto 3 meters . So it is safe if accidentally your camera gets wet :)
With this it also has protection against dust.There are so many things in this camera , but what I liked the most is 12.1 MP and Waterproof body :)

The price is not known but it may cost you around $400 to $450 ( Excluding tax :)
